MRL’s safety team expanded its training role significantly in 2009. As well as participating in various courses and conferences as visiting speakers, MRL has started to deliver bespoke training to the events industry. Royal Wedding, BBC broadcast coverage, Westminster Abbey and Ceremonial London

Julian Bentley, Operations Director of MRL Safety Limited was contacted by BBC Events to assist with the health and safety management of the BBCs spectacular coverage of the recent Royal Wedding. The production included the installation of over 100 cameras and 5 main broadcast hubs; these installations were positioned in Wellington Barracks, Canada Gate in Green Park, Horse Guards, Whitehall, Parliament Square, Westminster Abbey and other locations. MRL undertakes fire safety work in Saudi Arabia

MRL Safety were contracted by Dubai-based Filmmaster Events to produce a Fire Safety Management Plan and provide a Fire Safety Consultant for the inauguration ceremony of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Thuwel, Saudi Arabia in September 2009.
