The MRL Eye was commissioned by a client to survey a derelict building in preparation to submitting an offer of purchase. Due to the building’s state of disrepair, it was too dangerous to walk round. MRL Eye was used to complete a comprehensive aerial survey from the safety of the mobile control unit. The images were used to discuss options with the clients architect and building contractor and therefore considering the full extent of the investment needed to realise the potential of the development.  The cost of using the MRL Eye saved the client money in the long-term as this allowed the client to make a decision not to submit an offer, including costly planning permission, due to the state of the structure.
