Steve completed 22 years in the Army. On leaving the Army he joined the Health and Safety Department at Earls Court where he gained his NEBOSH General Certificate and CFPA Certificate in Fire Prevention. Since then he has completed Diplomas in Clinical hypnotherapy and Stress Management.

Recently he has been working as the Production Safety Manager for the Top Gear Live World Tour. Steve also has spoken at the Operations Forum of the AEO on managing High Risk events and at the World Summit of congress theatre owners in Barcelona on using safety management systems to enhance creativity and value for money.

As a trainer he also teaches the IOSH Managing Safely in Events and Exhibitions and writes bespoke management courses covering all aspects of safety and risk management.
