Effective event management requires multiple sources of information, and one of the best ways is via CCTV. Better still, is a CCTV camera in the sky.
At MRL Limited we have integrated into the working of an ELT (or Event Control CCTV) the option of a sky camera or "Helli-Telly" which can beam down live aerial footage to the control room. This gives the event manager and the event safety team a bird's-eye view of the show, enabling them to spot areas of concern in crowd movements, or other activity, before they become harmful to the safe operation of the event.
