Sound workings with Loud Sound Events

Loud Sound Event’s latest offering to the UK’s festival circuit Knowsley Hall 2007, based in Merseyside the two-day event was a huge success attracting 40,000 festival goers enjoying performances from The Who, Madness and Keane.

Not only did MRL provide first rate safety managers ensuring that the somewhat muddy festival went ahead, but also provided medical professionals and experienced staff to manage the event control (ELT), we are also proud to have worked as an instrumental part of the license application process.

Loud Sound’s; Bestival and Creamfields festivals go from strength to strength, as do MRL’s site knowledge.  Happy as we are to hit the ground running, through continued involvement with these festivals year after year, strong relationships have grown with local authorities meaning that obstacles and issues are ironed out faster, leaving Loud Sound to concentrate on doing what they do best!

70 acts, 4 stages, 35,000 people daily and a loch, it has to be Loud Sound’s Rockness festival, in 2007 celebrated it’s 2nd birthday; spanning the musical spectrum from dance to electro to rock with DJs, bands and a showcase stage for the best northern unsigned bands.  MRL were proud to support this fine festival for the second year running.  Working as part of the event management team MRL managed technical safety, site safety and co-ordination of all health and safety documentation from everyone involved prior to going onsite and again provided on-site safety management during the build and de-rig as well as and event control staff for the 2-day event.

Jim King, director of Loud Sound said ‘2007 was another really good year for us, and it is always good to work with MRL as they always deliver a consistently professional service.’
