Company Restructure puts MRL Group in Safe Hands

Following a strategic review during the first half of 2007, MRL Limited restructured in September to form MRL group of companies.

Following a strategic review during the first half of 2007, MRL Limited restructured in September to form MRL group of companies. ‘This has been critical year in the history of MRL’ said Judy Jackson. ‘This restructure will place MRL in a strong position to build on previous successes and continue in its place as one of the UK’s leader in providing risk and safety management to a wide range of clients’ Judy, who will head up the new company as Group Business Director, will oversee the day-to-day management of the group which has been divided into three specialist business sectors focusing on providing its own unique service.

MRL Safety Limited will provide safety management services to the live music and entertainment industry as well as commercial health and safety services to a growing number of clients both in the UK and abroad. This will be headed up by Julian Bentley.

MRL Medical will focus on providing on-site medical services and will be headed up by Dr Wayne Dennis.

MRL Resilience will concentrate on the provision of risk analysis and consultancy services in health emergency planning, civil protection and business continuity management to a number of government clients including the NHS, Department of Health and Cabinet Office. This division will be headed up by Phil Storr.

But the restructure goes even further ‘Following discussions with clients and staff, we felt in was important to improve the strategic direction of the company’ said Judy ‘this strategic leadership will be achieved by a new board structure which sees Stuart Adam join as Non-Executive Director from September 2007, Stuart joining the board will assist the company in reaching its longer term goals and objectives’.
