Case Study: One Big Weekend

Two weeks before the event one of the medical providers were unable to continue to provide cover and withdrew their services. Due to the short timescales it became impossible to appoint one of the other local medical charities. The problem had to be viewed more laterally.

Key Features

MRL Limited decided that it would staff the two-day event by drawing on it's our own staff from across the UK. Within a very tight timescale we provided: sufficient and qualified medical staff; complete operational planning (meeting the approval of the local Safety Advisory Group); and arrangement of staff accommodation. The event was a great success and the BBC was extremely pleased with the project management and provision of medical cover, all to specification and within budget.
