Julian Bentley
Julian spent twelve years in the ambulance service, including seven with the London Ambulance Service, before joining MRL Limited in August 2000.
During his ambulance career, Julian attended several high profile major incidents in the capital including the Bishopgate and London Bridge bombings, before transferring to the, then, North Yorkshire Ambulance Service in 1995.
In January 2002 Julian, was seconded from MRL Limited to the Civil Contingencies Secretariat to work on national emergency planning policy.
Having attained a Bachelor of Law degree from Leeds University, Julian combines his extensive operational experience, within the event safety sector, with his legal knowledge of risk.
As Assistant Director Julian heads MRL Safety leading on all operational matters. Julian has been the senior project lead for safety at many high-profile events, in the UK, Europe and the Middle East and is a member of the Institute for Emergency Management
