Helen Riley is one of MRL’s newest additions to the team.  A graduate from Leeds Metropolitan University’s Event Management course she has freelanced in Manchester managing events such as the Manchester Poetry Festival, worked on the UK music industry conference; In The City and played a part in numerous other events.

Since joining the team she’s had a summer working in Event Control gaining experience at Bestival, Global Gathering and Download to name but a few and has spent the winter months sharpening her safety skills gaining an I.O.S.H.  She’s also now first aid trained and has attended a number of courses at the EmergencyPlanningCollege including Public Safety at Festivals and Mass Gatherings and Star Events Temporary Demountable Structures.

As coordinator she provides support to the Project Managers in hounding contractors for health and safety documentation and has recently excelled at her first project with MRL managing a Christmas light installation along the A19 in Burn.
